Orion has arrived to join the JOY Dogs Jazmine, Oscar and Yola. He coped well with the three days of travel from Barnaul in Siberia, to Moscow (where he overnighted), then Frankfurt and onto Johannesburg. He is quite the traveller. He was a good guest at quarantine and I am told he played a lot […]
We were asked by Daniel Whitehead a student in Germany to collaborate on his exhibition on Working Dogs and we did a skype interview. He asked a lot of interesting questions about Working Dogs. Here is a photo from his exhibition as well as a poem he wrote on Working Dogs. We were honoured to […]
A promotion for Eukanuba – we love doing this type of work.
We wanted to give back to Eukanuba who sponsor the dogs’ food so we attended a training evening at Bryanston Country Club. The dogs certainly were a highlight of the evening. Thanks Eukanuba! The dogs posed with their Eukanuba bandanas the next morning in the garden.
A very successful show to an unexpected audience, lots of children and many adults too. Always nice to work on the stage as it’s better visibility for everyone. Dogs outdid themselves once again.
An interesting time for us – the venue was outdoors and the dogs were behaved and didn’t run off. The show went well and we have had enquiries for further shows.
This must have been our best show to date. The venue was perfect, the people loved it and the dogs were relaxed. A lot of interest in the spinning wheel too.
A great show for the old folk who are always so happy to see the dogs. We have been asked to do two more shows there this year. The dogs performed well and loved being the entertainers of the morning. And we got an article in the Krugersdorp News!
We were asked to give a show again this year and it went very well.
What a wonderful time showing off the JOY Dogs to 600 learners in the hall. Great excitement and the dogs coped with it all and did me proud.
